Thank you for your inquiry into Drive Tek's Youth Driver Education Program. Class offerings are as follows:

Student's driving schedule will be set up at the first class. Students will be driving during the day and possibly on the weekend outside of the scheduled classroom time.

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Thank you for your interest in Drive Tek’s Youth Driver Education Program.

The cost for the class is $335. You will need to present your permit and pay the fees to sign up for the class. Classes will be offered each trimester and during the summer.

Charles City High School students you must register with the Charles City High School Office. Confirmation and schedule may be picked up in office during the first week of the trimester. (Summer schedule will be out in early May)

The student’s driving schedule will be arranged with their instructor at the first class session. Driving times will occur at various times to accommodate the needs of the students.

All of the scheduled classes are state certified and include 30 hours of classroom instruction, with 4 hours of instruction covering alcohol and drug abuse as it relates to the driving task and 6 hours of actual on-street driving.

As a private enterprise, Drive Tek’s mission is to benefit the student. Drive Tek strives to establish positive relationships with the student and to accommodate their needs and schedules as much as possible.
