The student’s driving schedule will be arranged with their instructor at the first class session.  Driving times will occur at various times to accommodate the needs of the students.

All of the scheduled classes are state certified and include 30 hours of classroom instruction, with 4 hours of instruction covering alcohol and drug abuse as it relates to the driving task and 6 hours of actual on-street driving.

You can register on line at www.drivetek.com or mail a registration form indicating your class preference.   The US mail address is 9120 NW 26th Street, Ankeny, IA  50023.   The class confirmation will be sent approximately two weeks before classes begin.

The cost of the course is $340.   If fuel prices are above $349.9 per gallon, there will be a $10 fuel surcharge added

All of the classes are state certified and include a minimum 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of actual on-street driving.

DRIVING FOR ADULTS

Drive Tek is offering a three hour class for students over the age of 18 wanting instruction on the basic rules of driving.   The class will cover Safe Driving Skills, Street Signs, Intersections, interstate Driving, Speed Control, Parking, Space Margins and Distracted Driving.Classes will be offered the 2nd Saturday of each month.  Class time will be from  9 – 12 Noon.  Cost of the class is $75.    All classes will be held at the Drive Tek classroom at North Grand Mall.

No actual on street driving is provided with this class.  Driving lessons are available at an additional fee.   You do not need a permit or license to attend this class.
