Drive Tek is the sole provider of driver education for the students of the Ankeny School district. These are the scheduled classes that will be offered at Northview Middle School.

The student’s driving schedule will be arranged with their instructor at the first class session. Driving times will occur at various times to accommodate the needs of the students.
All of the scheduled classes are state certified and include 32 hours of classroom instruction, with 4 hours of instruction covering alcohol and drug abuse as it relates to the driving task and 6 hours of actual on-street driving.
Ankeny school district students complete the registration form and authorization of release of information. These forms must be turned into Northview Middle School 1302 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, 50023. Fees should be paid to Ankeny schools on their web site thru the school dining system. Once the registration form, the authorization of release of information and fees are received, at Northview, the student’s name will be placed on the class list. Students are accepted into the class on a first come first served basis. The cost of the course is $360.

Drive Tek will send notification of your class time and classroom assignment approximately two weeks before the class begins.
