Thank you for your inquiry into Drive Tek's Youth Driver Education Program. Please check the schedule for the session of your choice. If you attend Ottumwa High School or the Alternative High School complete the registration form and return it along with your payment of $310.00 to the Ottumwa High School Business Office.

All of the scheduled classes are state certified and include 32 hours of classroom instruction, with 4 hours of instruction covering alcohol and drug abuse as it relates to the driving task and 6 hours of actual on-street driving.
The cost of the course is $310.00. Bring your completed registration form along with your payment to the business office. Please make checks payable to Ottumwa High School. If you are on free/reduced lunch program, please contact the business office. Once your payment has been received, you will be placed on the class list. You must have a valid instruction permit on the first day of class in order to attend the class. Your class confirmation will be sent approximately two weeks before classes start.

All driving instruction time will be arranged with your instructor. Driving times will occur during the school day, after school and possibly on Saturdays. Iowa Law requires 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind the wheel instruction.
Ottumwa school district students must turn in the registration form along with payment to the Ottumwa High School counseling office.
